B35 Akan Kurangi Ketergantungan BBM per Februari 2023

Pemerintah bakal melaksanakan program mandatori B35 atau pencampuran biodiesel atau bahan bakar nabati berbasis minyak kelapa sawit 35 persen pada bahan bakar minyak (BBM) jenis solar pada Rabu (1/2/2023).

Pelaksanaan program tersebut pun diharapkan mampu mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap BBM. “Kebijakan menjadikan B35 pas dari sisi biodiesel dan suplai solar dalam negeri sehingga ini memastikan bahwa tidak ada impor untuk solar,” kata Direktur Jenderal Energi Baru dan Terbarukan (EBTKE) Kementerian Energi Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Dadan Kusdiana di Gedung Kemenko Perekonomian, Selasa (31/1/2023).

Tidak Ada Negara Yang Benchmarking

Dadan menambahkan, program B35 ini dilakukan secara mandiri. Artinya, pemberlakuan program B35 yang diinisiasi sejak 2015 tidak mencontoh negara lain.

“Di situ kita mulai harus benar-benar berdasarkan kemampuan sendiri. Negara lain 10 persen pada saat tersebut kita mulai 15 persen dan sekarang 35 persen,” ucap dia.

Adapun program B35 merupakan percepatan program B30 yang telah diuji coba pada tahun lalu. Uji coba itu sendiri dimulai dengan menentukan bahan bakar, campuran, dan lainnya. “Itu diimplementasikan campurannya seperti apa karena masih banyak kombinasi yang akan kita campur,” ujar Dadan.

13 Juta Kiloliter B35 siap diproduksi

Dari sisi produsen, Ketua Harian Asosiasi Produsen Biofuel Indonesia (Aprobi), Paulus Tjakrawan menyatakan, pihaknya mampu memproduksi biodiesel dengan kapasitas 17,5 juta kiloliter.

Dari kapasitas produksi tersebut, Paulus memastikan Aprobi siap memproduksi B35 sebanyak 13,5 juta kiloliter. “Jumlah alokasi B35 pada 2023 sebesar 13 juta kiloliter, Jadi artinya 75 persen dari kapasitas produksi kita dan teorinya cukup mendukung program B35,” kata Paulus.

Kapasitas Biodiesel Akan Bertambah Tiap Tahunnya

Paulus menambahkan, dalam mencapai kapasitas produksi biodiesel sebesar 17,5 juta kiloliter bukan merupakan hal instan.

Produksi tersebut dilakukan secara bertahap sejak Indonesia mulai menerapkan program biodiesel 17 tahun lalu atau sejak 2005 silam. “Kapasitas sebanyak ini dijalani sebanyak 17 tahun, bukan kemaren, bertambah terus. Yang akan datang, 2023 ke depan akan bertambah terus kapasitas volumenya,” ucap Paulus.
