RI Akan Memiliki Acuan Harga Sawit Sendiri Mulai Juni 2023 : Menteri Perdagangan
Indonesia akan membentuk harga acuan sendiri untuk minyak kelapa sawit (Crude Palm Oil/CPO). Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan menargetkan harga acuan tersebut bisa dibentuk pada Juni 2023.
Hal ini didorong oleh Zulhas karena selama ini, Indonesia sebagai penghasil sawit terbesar di dunia selalu mengacu pada harga acuan dari Malaysia. Ia pun meminta Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti) untuk segera merealisasikannya.
“Beberapa kali di sidang kabinet disinggung masa kita ikut dengan Malaysia yang punya sawit kita tapi kita ikut Malaysia. Jadi kalau memungkinkan Juni itu bisa udah bisa terpampang di layar bahwa kita punya patokan harga,” ujarnya dalam sambutannya di Pembukaan Rapat Kerja Bappebti, di Kementerian Perdagangan, Kamis (19/1/2023).
Selain komoditas CPO, Bappebti juga diminta untuk mengatur juga harga acuan untuk kopi hingga karet. Sementara saat ini harga acuan yang sudah dimiliki Indonesia sendiri baru pada komoditas timah saja.
“Dengan segala kewenangan yang dimiliki kalau bisa karet, CPO, kopi itu sudah bisa di kita. Jadi kalau memungkinkan Juni itu bisa udah bisa terpampang di layar bahwa kita punya patokan harga. Kalau dulu pagi-pagi itu di radio ada harga kopi dunia, harga lada dunia,” tuturnya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Plt Kepala Bappebti, Didid Noordiatmoko, mengungkap mengapa selama ini Indonesia belum membentuk harga acuan sendiri untuk CPO dan komoditi lainnya.
Menurutnya salah satu kendalanya adalah data transaksi komoditas di Indonesia yang belum bisa diandalkan. Akibatnya, proses penetapan harga referensi komoditi belum bisa direalisasikan.
“Data transaksi komoditas yang terdapat di Indonesia saat ini belum dapat diandalkan,” kata Didid.
Meski begitu, ia menargetkan agar pembentukan harga acuan sendiri untuk CPO, kopi, hingga karet itu bisa segera terbentuk tahun ini. Hal tersebut menjadi mandat Undang-Undang Nomor 32 tentang Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi yang sudah diterbitkan pada 1997 silam. Sebagai informasi, Indonesia sebagai produsen minyak sawit terbesar dunia tidak memiliki harga acuan sendiri. Selama ini pelaku industri sawit dunia, termasuk Indonesia merujuk ke dua bursa utama MDEX di Malaysia dan Rotterdam di Belanda.
